Tang Fu Kuen is an independent Bangkok-based dramaturg, curator and producer of contemporary performance and visual fields, working in Asia and Europe. This meeting brings together people from the Hong Kong performance art and visual art scene in an informal meeting. It tackles questions such as the need for time for research, the need for creation versus production, lack of space and the need for discussion platforms.

The second Rooftop Meeting is organized in collaboration with Bruxelles-Wallonie Danse/Theatre, a Belgian based agency for performing arts. Discussion related to the exchange program between Hong Kong and Wallonie-Bruxelles. This program featured a series of performances and a workshop that took place in Hong Kong Art Centre as well as a discussion and a performance by Julien Maire in WING. Stephanie Pecourt, director of Bruxelles-Wallonie Danse/Theatre gives an insight of the working of the organization in dialogue with the participants. Choreographic Matters
Exploring the possibilities of film and choreography Elysa Wendi invites us to look at the role of choreographer and filmmaker as a navigator in the world. The artist meticulously observes the common elements of film and choreography through the notions of time, space and energy. The rooftop meeting includes a talk session and screening of dance and film works selected by the artist.
Special guests: Anna CY Chan, Head of Dance of West Kowloon Cultural District and Raymond Wong, Curator of Jumping Frames International Dance Video Festival.
